for everyone

ice storm sings

to the windows

wind and snow

rail against
a darkening night
the street empty
uninviting

cherry and almond trees blush

with spring kisses,

an ocean away

life glows in the first light
of the new day
but is just a quiet whisper

from behind my ear

sitting in the shadows

late wintersong continues

its relentless beat,

long into the night,

only morning will know

how the song will end

if it will

the candlelight dances

sharing little warmth

while my heart and mind

wanders through

the death of a dream

your photo, sitting there
dares me

to smile

Some people have the gift of putting into words the innermost feelings of all human beings.
Others, like me, get confused with this feelings...

thanks :-) sometimes it is just about being confused it's true. sometimes there are words for explaining the emotions, and sometimes even if there are words they can't say everything.

Sitting in the shadows
we send off arrow of smiles
to protect seeking hearts of presence :

If you are wise like the Friend of God,
the fire is water to you, especially this fire of Love,
which is the soul of all waters . . . and you are a moth.
But the ignorant moth behaves differently than we do:
it sees the light and ends up in the fire.
The heart of the mystic sees fire and goes into the Light.
A fire has been made to look like water,
while within the apparent fire is a real fountain.
